I have a phone interview tomorrow for a Sales Representative position in a large equipment rental company. I am female and the industry is mostly in the Construction Equipment field. What would be some smart questions to ask during my interview. The person that is doing the phone interview with me asked me to write some questions down that I would like to ask during our interview so I want to make sure that I ask smart questions. Any suggestions?

The simple question would be to ask what a typical day is like in this position. Ask about advancement opportunities and whether or not they provide any benefits/401K options. Also, ask about commissions and/or how you get paid.

    general:
wage, hours, benefits, vacation, workers compensation, raises, health care, maternity leave….

goals of the company, rankings, who managers are, what your stores policies are, who you report to with problems or concerns (with yourself and with customers), protocol for whatever you are doing,

i like it when people ask me when they can start. and eager employee is one that i want on board with my staff. i also like it when people ask what they should be wearing. uniform is important. ( for my store anyway)
